Presenter: Ms. Rosemarie Fraumeni

Ms. Fraumeni currently serves as Payroll Manager for American Dental Partners, Inc. in Wakefield, MA.  Previously, she was the Payroll & HR Shared Services Manager for TASC, Inc.  Involved in payroll for over 20 years, Rosemarie oversees the filing of federal, state, and local taxes and the processing and distribution of over 5,700 Forms W-2 in addition to directing daily payroll activities. She will be speaking on the taxability of fringe benefits and certain types of compensation such as company vehicles, athletic facilities, employer provided retirement advice, business expenses, and advances & overpayments.  She will also be available for questions.

Created in 2003 through a merger of the investigative and interior enforcement elements of the U.S. Customs Service and the Immigration and Naturalization Service, ICE now has more than 20,000 employees. Internal and External Corruption at the IRS

Presenter: Mr. Stephen Quartino, Federal LEO

Mr. Quartino is a Federal LEO. He started with the DEA and then went to IRS inspection. He has an AS in Business Administration, BS in Criminal Justice, and MS in Criminal Justice. Mr. Quartino is assigned to the TIGTA (the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration), Boston Field Office. The overall mission of the TIGTA’s Office of Investigation is to help protect the ability of the IRS to collect revenue for the Federal Government. To do this, the IRS conducts investigations and proactive investigative initiatives to ensure the integrity of the IRS employees, contractors, and other tax professionals; ensure IRS employee and infrastructure security; and protect the IRS against external attempts to corrupt tax administration.
